Antonio Huertas holds a degree in Law from the University of Salamanca. He joined MAPFRE in 1988, and he has held the role of president of MAPFRE since 2012 and Fundación MAPFRE since 2014. He participates in the main European insurance institutions and is a trustee of some of the top Spanish foundations. He is personally and professionally committed to sustainable social and economic development and equal opportunity, as well as the idea of education as the basis for social progress.
